Ship Assignment - April 29th, 2011

After three months in the making, I have finally been assigned a sign-on date, ship and port location.

As of Saturday May 7th, 2011 my current city will be Jacksonville, Florida! I feel as though I should get out my old cowboy boots and hat! Howdy Partners! I can't wait to meet all my American passengers! LOL

I will  be working as part of the Camp Carnival Program on the Carnival Fascination for the next 6 months.

I am looking forward to this new adventure and cannot wait to share my experiences with all of you. I am creating this blog in an effort to ensure I keep everyone updated and stay connected even though I will be many miles away from land and all of you!

Please feel free to send me personal emails at anytime with questions or words of encouragement ( I may need some sanity breaks as I will be working with children 7 days a week for the next 180 days!) I cannot guarantee I will be able to respond promptly but please check this blog often if you are interested in whats to come: working and living on board a cruise ship!
